A cash flow forecast for your checking account
One dated ledger with a running balance. Past rows are what happened. Future rows are the paychecks and bills you expect, so the balance on any day ahead is what you expect to have.

One ledger, past and future
Every row has a date, an amount and a category. Rows before today are what cleared; rows after today are your forecast. The running balance goes through both, so the lowest point next month is on screen before it happens. Today's rows are yellow and future rows are light blue.
Set a bill up once as repeating and Casharchy writes out each future row, so the forecast stays full for the months ahead.
Where the numbers come from
The balance starts from the beginning balance you set and adds every row in date order. The four cards (Total Liquidity, Net Flow, Total Inflow and Total Outflow) are computed from the full ledger for the period you choose. Search, category and period filters only change what is shown, never the balances.
Households with more than one checking account can keep each in its own ledger and see them together under All checking. A transfer between them moves both balances but never counts as income or spending.
From forecast to fact
With a bank connection, each real transaction arrives in the Bank Inbox. Match it to the forecast row it belongs to and the estimate becomes the actual amount; add it as a new row if you had not planned it. The ledger's Source column says whether each row came from the bank, from AI or was typed by hand.
Each edit you make in the ledger is one step that Undo and Redo can reverse, shared by everyone on the account. A bank match is reversed with Unlink instead, while the row is not yet reconciled.
AI Optimize: see what sits above your floor
Part of the paid plan. Set the lowest checking balance you want to keep. Optimize walks your forecast day by day and plans transfers of only what sits above that floor, without the forecast crossing it on any day. It is a projection, not a transfer: you review the plan before anything is saved, and Casharchy never moves money.
