Subscribing is self-serve: choose Annual or Monthly on Pricing and pay on a secure Stripe page. The AI tools (Optimize, statement and paycheck imports, duplicate review) are part of the paid plan.
Better for keyboard and screen-reader users: a skip link, dialogs that keep focus, charts that read out the selected value, darker grey text and clearer form fields.
Single-key shortcuts can be turned off from the status bar.
New comparison pages for YNAB, Monarch, Simplifi and former Mint users, and screenshots on every feature page. Spending’s CSV import now reads YNAB and Mint exports.
A new casharchy.com and email sign-in
A new home page, a How it works guide, founder’s pricing, a Security page and a Request a demo form.
The app now lives at app.casharchy.com. Sign in with Google, or with an email address and password.
Settings → Backup has a Restore button that puts a downloaded backup back into an account that has nothing saved yet.
Brokerage no longer has an AI button: it measures your holdings against the targets you set.
Clearer charts
Every chart was redrawn, with values printed on the chart and the exact figures in the hover box, also reachable with the arrow keys.
Cash Flow has a range slider in the year view. The Spending month breakdown and Portfolio Size are ranked bars, largest first.
Crypto prices and one category list
Mainstream cryptocurrency such as Bitcoin and Ethereum gets live prices like any stock, with its own Crypto category for targets.
Cash and Spending now share one category list, so a category you add or rename shows in both.
Several checking accounts, splits and rules
Cash can hold more than one checking account, each with its own ledger and beginning balance, and transfers between them.
Split one purchase between several Spending categories, by amount or by percent, and mark money that is not really spending as Ignored.
Category rules sort new bank transactions into the category you choose.
Brokerage account types are yours to set: name them, colour them, order them and say whether each counts as retirement.
Delete your account yourself from Settings.
A day book for phones
On a phone, Cash and Spending group transactions under date headings with the running balance or month spending beside each one.
Phone filters fold away behind a search button, and the action bars are compact icon buttons.
A new workspace on every tab
Every tab uses the same frame: a side rail, summary cards, one action bar, a chart strip and a context pane for forms beside the table.
A dark theme and keyboard shortcuts for switching tabs, searching and adding.
The Cash ledger has a Source column that says whether each row came from the bank, from AI or was typed by hand.
The category picker can be searched and used with the keyboard.
Report an issue from the app
A flag button in the header files a report with screenshots, without leaving the page.
Cash has week filters, and search covers more of each row.
Free and paid plans
Every tab is free for figures you enter yourself. A paid plan adds bank connections through Plaid.
CSV import and a fuller Net Worth Report
Spending’s Add Transaction can import a pasted CSV, such as a Rocket Money export, skipping rows you already have.
Edit a Cash row’s description or amount in place.
The Net Worth Report PDF adds real estate, Federal Tax, Projections and each month’s Spending Report.
Spending reports and Focus mode
Undo and Redo on Spending, shared with Cash.
Download a month’s Spending Report as a PDF.
Focus mode hides the cards, action bar and chart so the table fills the screen.
A budget review with a ring for the share of the budget used, what is left and what is left per day.
Try it with your own numbers
Free when you enter figures by hand. Bank connections through Plaid and the AI tools are $8 a month, or $80 a year (2 months free). No card needed to start.
