# Casharchy

> Casharchy is a US household money app on the web. It forecasts your checking balance on every future date and keeps budgets, investment accounts measured against targets you set, debt payoff, net worth, a 2026 federal tax worksheet and long-term projections in one place. It is a record-keeping and forecasting tool, not financial, investment or tax advice: it never moves money, places trades or suggests what to buy or sell.

## Plans
- Free: every tab, with figures you enter yourself or import from CSV; reports and encrypted backups. No AI tools. No card and no time limit.
- Paid: $8 a month, or $80 a year (two months free), founder's price. Adds read-only connections to US bank, card, brokerage and loan accounts through Plaid, a daily sync, the Bank Inbox and the AI tools (Optimize, statement and paycheck imports, duplicate review; 50 requests a day).

## Data and privacy
- Bank sign-ins go to Plaid, never to Casharchy; access is read-only.
- Casharchy does not sell or rent personal data or use it for advertising.
- Every account can download an encrypted backup and delete itself in Settings.
